April 17, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Maryland NightHawks News Release
The Maryland Nighthawks will be holding the first of several pre-season tryout camps in May. The camp will be open to all eligible players who want to be considered for a spot on the Nighthawks 2005-2006 roster. "We want to get an early look at some of the great talent that is out there" said owner Tom Doyle. "The Nighthawks intend on building upon the great first season in the ABA. We will make the 2005-2006 season even better." Doyle stated. The exact date and location of the first tryout camp will be announced very soon.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
