Knights Make Roster Moves Ahead of Draft

With the NAHL Draft coming Tuesday afternoon, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights announced multiple roster transactions.

- The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights have acquired forward Vadim Kiryakov and a 2020 second round draft pick from the Lone Star Brahmas in exchange for Sacha Guillemain. Kiryakov, 19, hails from Tyumen, Russia. He scored three goals and totaled four points in 14 games for Lone Star during the 2018-19 campaign.

- The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights have traded defenseman Blake Kryska to the Minnesota Magicians in exchange for a 2019 third round draft pick.

- Wilkes-Barre/Scranton acquired forward Sutton McDonald from the Kenai River Brown Bears. Out of Eagle River, AK, McDonald will enter his third season in the North American Hockey League after spending the previous two with the Brown Bears. The 19-year-old has 12 goals across 102 NAHL games.

- From the Winkler Flyers in the MJHL, Caydon Meyer has signed his tender offer from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. A 2000 birth year, Meyer has already skated with four different NAHL clubs over the past two seasons (Minnesota, Coulee Region, Philadelphia, Springfield). His longest stint came with the Minnesota Magicians, where Meyer played 25 games. The 6'0? defender comes to the Knights from his hometown of Woodbury, MN.
