Pittston, PA - New Jersey 2 @ Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 1 - Spencer Wright made 28 saves as the Titans stayed hot and in 1st place with a close 2-1 win over the Knights on Friday. It was the Knights who struck first in the 1st period with a power play goal from Aiden Beck. New Jersey would knot the game at 1-1 in the 2nd period with a power play goal of their own from Jesse Farabee. The game-winner would come midway through the 3rd period as Adam Hascic scored unassisted. Knights goalie Andrey Svistunov played well in the loss, making 35 saves.Â
