Knights At Home June 10th for Military Night

The Battle Creek Knights professional basketball team is at home this week for one game, Friday, June 10th, vs. the Detroit Pros, tip off time 7:30 p.m., at Kellogg Arena. Battle Creek Knights are 15-0 entering the tenth week of the International Basketball League schedule. The Knights current scoring leader is Mike Williams (WMU). Mike is 13th overall in the IBL in scoring with a 21.7 points per game average. Other Battle Creek Knights players averaging in double digit scoring presently is Jamal Gooding (Knoxville), Bobby Madison (WMU), Milo Stovall (Valparaiso University), Ben Reed (WMU), and Kenyon Murray (Iowa).

The Knights only opponent this weekend is the Detroit Pros on Friday, June 10th. The Detroit Pros are led in scoring by Aaron Bates with a 21.7 points per game average and Mike Manciel with 20.8 points per game average. Currently, Detroit is 5-12 on the season.

The Knights players, coaches, and mascot are going to be out in the Southwest Michigan area doing community events this week I.E.: the Battle Creek Federal Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, June 9th, and Saturday, June 11th, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cereal City Festival children's area at Kellogg's Cereal City U.S.A.
