GAME SUMMARY
On Sunday at 1pm, Chico hosted Central Oregon. At halftime, Chico led 55-49 in front of 200 very enthusiastic fans. Trailing by as many as 12 points in the fourth quarter, Central Oregon took the lead at the end of the fourth quarter. Chico then tied the game with 4 seconds to go. Central Oregon's Arthur Lewis missed a runner in the lane for the win, so the game went into overtime. At the end of the first overtime, Central Oregon again led by 2 but Chico tied the game with 6 seconds to go. Central Oregon got two game winning shots off but both shots missed sending the game into double-overtime. In the second overtime with Central Oregon stars Ashley Champion and Steven Moss-Kelley fouled out (mid fourth quarter), the three J's took over (Jonathon Smith, JS Nash and Jason Rogan) to end Chico's chances for the win. Final score Central Oregon 147 over Chico 138. Ashley Champion poured in 38 points, Jason Rogan scored 29 points, Steven Moss-Kelley and JS Nash chipped in 23 and 20 points respectively as Central Oregon improved it's record to 9-7. Ed Madec scored 38 points for Chico who dropped to third place in the West division of the IBL at 8-4.
