MACON, Ga. The Macon Knights have been assigned wide receiver/linebacker LaQuonne Holden. Holden is the 21st player added to the Knights 35-man training camp roster.
Holden (6-2, 208, Morris Brown) enters his first season with the Knights and his second season in arenafootball2. Holden spent the 2004 season with the Columbus Wardogs. He appeared in 16 games with the Wardogs recording 38 receptions for 292 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 36 tackles (17 unassisted), one tackle for a loss, one interception, one pass breakup, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Holden finished his collegiate career at Morris Brown College as the schools all-time leading receiver with 140 receptions for 2,227 yards and 15 touchdowns.
