MANCHESTER, NH (January 27, 2005) Bob Marks of Londonderry, NH is a Wolves season ticket holder and the official winner of a pair of tickets to watch the New England Patriots battle the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX. Each Wolves season ticket purchased before noon on Thursday, January 27th represented an entry into a drawing where the prize was a pair of tickets to the Super Bowl, which is being played at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida on February 6th, 2005.
"We are very happy for Mr. Marks, who is a renewed season ticket holder from our inaugural season," said Wolves managing partner, Steve Schubert, "this is a great opportunity for the team to give something back to the fans."
The contest was open to all Wolves season ticket holders who lined their season tickets up before noon on Thursday, January 27th. Participants received an entry for each season ticket. The drawing for the two Super Bowl tickets was held at 5PM, Thursday, January 27th. WMUR sports anchor Jason King drew the winning name in the Wolves offices.
"Professional football in New England doesn't end with the Super Bowl," noted Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella, "once the Super Bowl is played we will be less than two months from our opening game."
The Wolves home opener is fast approaching. The game will take place Friday, April 8th at 7:30P at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Manchester is taking on the 2004 ArenaCup champion Florida Firecats. The coach that took Florida to the ArenaCup will be calling plays for the Wolves this time around. Season tickets prices range from $114 to $264 per seat with some great deals and great seats still available. Wolves season ticket holders also receive a specially embroidered season ticket holder hat for each ticket purchased.
