
Knights announce sale of individual game tickets

Omaha, NE - Hockey fans in Omaha will be able to purchase individual game tickets to each of the 40 home games of the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights beginning Saturday, September 10th from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Tickets will be on sale at the Omaha Civic Auditorium box office, at all Ticketmaster outlets and at Ticketmaster.com. Beginning Monday, September 12th, tickets will be on sale at the Civic Auditorium box office on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tickets will also be available through Ticketmaster.
The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights will host a welcome reception to celebrate the event in the lobby of the Civic. Ticket sales representatives will also be on hand to offer more information on Knights' season ticket, group ticket and mini-plan packages for the inaugural season. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase new Knights' team apparel.
In addition, the Knights will be holding open auditions for National Anthem singers. Interested persons who can sing either or both the American and Canadian national anthems will be asked to sing a cappella in the Civic Auditorium. Participants will not be chosen immediately after auditioning but will be contacted within two weeks. The audition will also run from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights begin their inaugural season in the American Hockey League on October 7th when they host the defending Western Conference Champions, the Chicago Wolves, at 7:00 p.m. at the Omaha Civic Auditorium.
