Knights Address July 3rd Fireworks Show
July 6, 2011 - West Coast League (WCL)
Corvallis Knights News Release
Thank you for coming out to OSU Federal Credit Union Fireworks Night. It was another sellout, our third straight on July 3rd. Thanks to you, attendance has increased significantly this summer. We've had 11 crowds of 1,000+ and are averaging 1,345 per game (compared to 996 per game last season). After 13 home dates, total attendance is at 17,490.
Unfortunately, our fireworks display on July 3rd was cut short due to a system failure and we all missed out on the finale and much more. Our pyrotechnics vendor feels awful about this, as do we.
The Corvallis Knights and OSU Federal Credit Union take great pride in the quality of our July 3rd fireworks shows. Our standards are high, and will remain high. Our pyro vendor has assured us this will not happen again. We trust they will deliver extraordinary displays in the future, as they have in the past.
Please trust that we will keep our standards high, and that our next show will measure up to shows of the past. Thanks for understanding.
And thanks again for supporting the Knights!
We'll see you Monday, July 11th at Goss Stadium. It's Emmons Meat Market Miser Monday, and Corvallis welcomes the Kitsap BlueJackets. Get your $3 GA ticket coupon at Emmons Meat Market on HWY 34.
Please feel free to share this note with fellow fans and July 3rd guests.
