
Knighthawks to host radio show on WHTK 1280-AM Saturday afternoons

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Knighthawks and Clear Channel Communications have announced today the creation of a weekly lacrosse radio show on WHTK 1280-AM and WHTK.com. "Rippin' it Up" will run for 12 weeks every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The 12-week show makes its debut on Saturday, January 7th.
The Voice of the Knighthawks, Craig Rybczynski, will host the show that will feature interviews with Head Coach Ed Comeau, K-Hawk and Rochester Rattlers players, national media members, and National Lacrosse League coaches and players. Tim Knab and Eric Driscoll will serve as co-hosts during Knighthawks' road trips. The duo will host the inaugural show this weekend as Rochester travels to Colorado.
As part of the agreement, Comeau will appear on the Brad Davies Show each week to break down upcoming games. This week, he will talk to Davies at 10:35 a.m. on Thursday, January 5th. The Brad Davies Show airs from 9:00 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday on WHTK 1280-AM and WHTK.com.
The Knighthawks also announced that all 16 regular season games will be broadcast live on the B2 Networks via the Internet and can be accessed directly on knighthawks.net.
The Rochester Knighthawks open their 12th season of professional lacrosse on Saturday, January 7th against the Colorado Mammoth at 9:00 p.m. at the Pepsi Center. The game will be webcast on the B2 Networks and televised on Altitude Sports & Entertainment.
Rochester plays its home opener on Saturday, January 14th against the National Lacrosse League defending champion Toronto Rock at 7:35 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial. The first 10,000 fans will receive a magnet schedule from ESL Federal Credit Union. Fans arriving early can also take home a Knighthawks T-shirt while supplies last. The game will be webcast on the B2 Networks and televised tape delayed at 10:00 p.m. on WB16.
