
Knighthawks to Celebrate Men's Health Night

(Rochester, February 2)... The Rochester Knighthawks have teamed up again with the Urology Associates of Rochester to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer. The team will hold an auction beginning on Saturday, February 4 th as part of the fundraising efforts to benefit Zero - The Project to end Prostate Cancer and The Lipson Cancer Center at Rochester General. The Knighthawks will wear blue jerseys on Men's Health Nights to shed light on a disease that affects one in every six men.
"We all know that cancer effects many people in our community so we are happy to partner with UAR to both raise awareness of men's prostate cancer and also help fundraise in an effort to help fight the disease," said Knighthawks President Lewis Staats. "We worked with UAR last year on this same cause and we are hoping that fans will once again join in our efforts by generously bidding on the special jerseys we will be wearing Saturday. We want to raise as much money as we can to support the fight against cancer here in Rochester."
On Saturday, February 4 th, the Knighthawks will wear these special edition men's health blue jerseys when they host Minnesota at The Blue Cross Arena. As soon as the game starts, you'll be able to bid on those game-worn jerseys at GoBuyRochester.com. The auction will stay open until Saturday, February 12 th at 7:00 p.m. Each jersey will be autographed by the player who wore it during the game. All of the auction proceeds will go to support the fight against prostate cancer.
