February 2, 2012 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Washington Stealth News Release
Everett, Wash. - Stealth All-Access, the weekly radio featuring news and interviews from the defending back-to-back National Lacrosse League Western Division Champion Washington Stealth, returns with a special 90-minute episode today at 4pm PST on Fox Sports 1380. This week, Stealth Head Coach Chris Hall is among the guests joining host Mike Kennett as he previews the coming week of action around the National Lacrosse League.
Hall was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his tonsil back in November. He has since undergone radiation and chemotherapy treatment to eliminate the tumor. The fourth-year Stealth Head Coach talks about his recovery, being away from the Stealth, and what he thinks needs to change this weekend for the Stealth to pick up its first win of the season.
This week's show will also continue the weekly segments with Stealth stars Paul Rabil and Rhys Duch, with each giving the player perspective on the Stealth's slow start in 2012. Fans can call in to ask either player a question live on the air.
The Stealth heads to Buffalo this weekend in search of its first win of the season. The Bandits are also looking to get back on the winning track, having lost two straight after opening the season 2-0. Former Stealth forward Luke Wiles, who was traded to the Bandits this offseason, will give the Bandits perspective on this big interdivisional match up and talk about his first game against his former team.
The Stealth's game in Buffalo is just one matchup during a busy weekend around the NLL. IL Indoor.com writer and host of "Boxla Beat" on the Lacrosse Radio Network, Stephen Stamp will be on the program to break down all the weekend's biggest story lines in the weekly "Around the NLL" segment.
A new feature on Stealth All-Access is the "Rapid Fire" segment, in which Stealth players are put on the hot seat to answer some difficult questions about themselves and their teammates. This week, Stealth Captain Jason Bloom will face the firing squad.
Stealth All-Access airs weekly on Thursdays on Fox Sports 1380 AM. Submit your questions for this week's guests online at www.stealthlax.com or email radio@stealthlax.com. Call in to the show at (425) 304-1380 and listen to the show live on the web at www.krko.com/listenlive/.
