(Rochester, NY) - Rochester Knighthawks General Manager and Vice President of Lacrosse Operations Dan Carey announced today that the team has re-signed forward Curtis Knight to a one-year contract for the 2020-21 National Lacrosse League season, pending league approval.

"Curtis is one of those players that does whatever it takes for the betterment of the team," said Carey. "He is a smart and responsible leader that does a lot for this team. We are glad to have him in a Knighthawks jersey and are looking forward to what he is going to bring next season."

Knight, 28, returns for his second season in Rochester after finishing second on the team in goals (15), assists (31) and points (46) while appearing in all 12 games during the Knighthawks' inaugural campaign. He also ranked third with 114 shots while serving as an assistant captain.

Prior to joining the Knighthawks, the Oshawa, Ontario, native spent the first six seasons of his NLL career with the Saskatchewan Rush from 2013-19, recording 307 points (122+185) and 350 loose balls in 99 games.
