
Knighthawks re-sign Croswell and Greer

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Knighthawks General Manager Jody Gage announced today that the team has re-signed forward Brian Croswell and defenseman Bill Greer to one-year deals.
Croswell returns for third season with the Knighthawks and fourth in the National Lacrosse League. The forward appeared in four games last season and recorded one goal and two assists. This summer, he was a member of the Mann Cup Champion Peterborough Lakers. The Peterborough native was originally a first-round selection (10th overall) of the Toronto Rock in the 2002 NLL Entry Draft.
Greer enters his second season with the Knighthawks and seventh in the NLL. Last season, he recorded one goal, one assist and 23 loose balls in six games. Last summer, he played for the Brooklin Redmen of the Ontario Lacrosse Association (Major Series). The Oshawa native was the Columbus Landsharks' first-round selection (ninth overall) in the 2001 NLL Draft.
The Rochester Knighthawks will open their 13th season of professional lacrosse on Saturday, December 30th against the defending National Lacrosse League champion Colorado Mammoth. Gametime is set for 9:00 p.m. at the Pepsi Center.
The Knighthawks return to action after making their 12th playoff appearance in the team's 12-year history. Last season, Rochester finished with a 9-7 record and advanced to the East Division Finals.
