Knighthawks John Grant To Play Scoro Tonight At Amerks Game

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Knighthawks forward John Grant will try his hand at Scoro at the Rochester Americans' hockey game tonight. The six-time National Lacrosse League All-Pro will serve as a celebrity contestant during the second intermission of the Amerks-Hamilton Bulldogs American Hockey League game. The Amerks host the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:35 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.

Grant will be wearing a special purple Knighthawks jersey, which will be auctioned off during the Rochester-Minnesota Swarm National Lacrosse League game on Saturday, April 7th. All proceeds will go to FOODLINK. The contest is a 7:35 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.

Grant is currently second in the National Lacrosse League in goals (41) and third in points (88). The Peterborough, Ontario, native is the team's all-time leader in goals, assists and points.

The Rochester Knighthawks can clinch their second division title in team history this Saturday with a victory and some help. Rochester (11-2) can lock up the Eastern Division title with a win over Minnesota AND a Buffalo loss to Arizona on Saturday. Rochester can also secure home field throughout the playoffs by winning its remaining three games. Rochester is riding a franchise-record nine-game winning streak and is 6-0 at home this season.

The Knighthawks' East Division battle against the third-place Minnesota Swarm (6-6) will be carried live on WYSL 1040-AM and wysl1040.com. The contest will also be televised tape delayed on Time Warner SportsNet Channel 26.
