Knighthawks Hungry to End Season with Win

The Rochester Knighthawks will end their regular season tonight when they battle the New England Black Wolves at 6:00 p.m. at Mohegan Sun Arena. The contest will be broadcast on 107.3 The Bull and on FOX Sports GO.

The game is the fourth meeting of the season between the two East Division foes. Rochester will look to even the season series with a victory this evening. Rochester (6-11) enters the game with a chance to knock off the second-place team in the East Division. Last night, the Black Wolves (10-7) suffered a 12-7 setback to the Buffalo Bandits.

On Saturday, the Knighthawks hosted the Saskatchewan Rush and got five-point efforts from Cody Jamieson (2+3) and Dan Dawson (1+4). Jamieson, who played in his 100th game as a pro, now has 94 points and is just six away from reaching the 100-point plateau for the second time in his career. In the showdown with the Rush, the Knighthawks also got three points from Stephen Keogh (2+1) and a pair of goals from Joe Resetarits.

Prior to last night's contest, the Knighthawks inducted defensemen Chis Schiller and Pat McCready into the team's Hall of Fame. The two team-first players combined to bring three championships to the Knighthawks. Schiller also became only the third Rochester native to grace the illustrious club.

Awesome Dawson: Dan Dawson, who leads the Knighthawks in goals, needs just two goals to reach the 40-goal mark for the third time in his career. The last time he notched 40 goals was back in 2007 with the Arizona Sting.

Self among Top Scoring Defensemen: Brad Self, despite playing in 14 games, enters the contest tied for fourth in the league with 18 points (7+11). He can overtake Dan McRae for the league lead with four points today.

Summer Camps: The Rochester Knighthawks Summer Lacrosse Camps, presented by Under Armour?©, will hold two boys and one girls camp this offseason. Cody Jamieson - Needs 4 goals to pass his single-season best of 36 goals; 3 goals away from reaching 200 in his career.

Stephen Keogh - Needs 5 goals to record a new single-season high. He currently has 29 goals.

Joe Walters - Needs 4 assists and 8 points to set new single-season highs. He enters the games with 30 assists and 46 points.
