Game Notes: The Rochester Knighthawks host one of the surprise teams in the National Lacrosse League this season, the Columbus Landsharks, at 7:35 p.m. tonight at The Blue Cross Arena.

Knighthawk notes: Rochester (5-2) enters the game in second place in the Central Division on the strength of a four-game winning streak... The 'Hawks trail the Buffalo Bandits (6-1) by only one game... The Knighthawks are coming off a 12-9 road win over the Philadelphia Wings on February 8th, their first win in Philly since 1999... Rochester made history with its fourth consecutive road victory... Goaltender Pat O'Toole held an opponent to less than 10 goals for the second time in three games... Rochester will try to improve upon its 2-0 divisional record.

Home Stretch: The Knighthawks return home tonight where they have struggled this season, considering they brought a 15-game home winning streak into the 2002-03 campaign... Rochester has a 1-2 mark at The Blue Cross Arena this year.

Shark Bites: The game on Saturday is the second of the week for Columbus... The Landsharks (6-3) defeated the New Jersey Storm 12-9 last night in Columbus... The win broke a season-high two-game losing streak... The Landsharks are 0-3 all-time against the Knighthawks, but took Rochester to overtime in their last meeting on March 22, 2002... The Landsharks have six former No. 1 draft picks on their roster... Pat Maddalena was named the co-winner of the NLL's Player of the Month award... He registered 15 goals and 13 assists in five games.

Honoring Soudan tonight: Prior to the contest, the Knighthawks will honor forward and Fairport native Tim Soudan for playing in 100 straight regular season games with the Knighthawks... He has played in every game in team history, appearing in 101 regular season games and 13 playoff contests... He hit the century mark on February 2nd in Albany.

One more time: Teammate Cory Bomberry can also make history on Saturday, as he stands one assist away from tying Duane Jacobs' all-time assist record... Bomberry has 184 assists, one behind the mark of 185 set by Jacobs.

Players closing in on milestones: Regy Thorpe is approaching his 100th game as a Knighthawk... After tonight's contest, he will be only two away from the century mark... Cory Bomberry is only three loose balls away from 400 in his career... Casey Zaph needs only one goal to break his single-season mark of five... The last two seasons, he scored five goals... This year, Zaph has five goals in just seven games... Jeremy Hollenbeck needs three assists to reach 100 in his career.

Media Coverage: Tonight's contest will be broadcast live on NewsTalk 950-AM WROC... The game will also be televised live on WB-16.

What's on deck: Rochester travels to Toronto for a 3:30 p.m. game on Saturday, February 22nd... The game will be broadcast on News Talk 950-AM WROC and televised on Rogers Sportnet.
