The Knighthawks came out firing, getting five goals from five different goal scorers in the first quarter to take a 5-1 lead. Rochester's Joel McCready (1+4) scored at 7:18 of the opening quarter to extend his career-high goal-scoring streak to 13 games. Johnny Powless (2+1), Jamieson and Joe Walters (2+2) followed the McCready goal and it was a four-goal Rochester advantage.

Poulin was lifted for 30 seconds in the first and returned to shut out the K-Hawks in the second quarter. Calgary's offense chipped away at the Rochester lead and Dane Dobbie's goal at 13:03 to cut the deficit to 5-4 at halftime. Dobbie finished the game with three goals and two assists.

His power-play goal at 2:48 tied the game at five. After trading goals, Rochester scored three goals in 1:13 to move in front 9-6. The Knighthawks were relentless as Walters netted his second of the night and Keogh scored twice. Rochester pounded the net, outshooting Calgary 15-6 in the third.

In the fourth, Calgary got within one as Jeff Shattler scored back-to-back goals in the first nine minutes. Curtis Dickson then scored two straight goals in 19 seconds with his second coming with 4:32 to play to give the Roughnecks their first lead of the game. Dobbie added another at 11:51 before Jamieson rifled a shot past Poulin to make it 11-10.

The Knighthawks will close out their three-game road trip on Saturday, March 1st with a trip to Denver. The 9:00 p.m. game against the Colorado Mammoth will be streamed live on The Lacrosse Network's YouTube channel and broadcast live via Sportsradio 950 ESPN and www.sportsradio950espn.com.
