Knighthawks Announce TV Schedule

(Rochester, January 12)... The Rochester Knighthawks announced their TV schedule today for the 2012 National Lacrosse League season, which includes a nationally televised game on the CBS Sports Network. The Knighthawks will broadcast six of their eight home games on Time Warner Cable.

"The Rochester Knighthawks are pleased to announce that we have continued our partnership with Time Warner and will be broadcasting seven of our games this season, including one live on CBS," said Knighthawks President Lewis Staats. "We are happy to be able to bring live lacrosse action to Time Warner Cable. But if you want to get the full effect of what Rochester Knighthawks 'No Limits Lacrosse' is all about, the only way you can truly experience the best lacrosse action on the planet is by being inside The Blue Cross Arena."

The Knighthawks' first TV game is set for Saturday, January 21st on Time Warner Cable SportsNet (Channel 26) as they host the Buffalo Bandits at 7:30 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. The Knighthawks will honor their Millionth Fan with a trip for two to Las Vegas (hotel, airfare and $2,000 cash). The Knighthawks will raffle off a second trip to Vegas (hotel and airfare) between the third and fourth quarters. Fans have until halftime to register at the Guest Services Booth. Knighthawks individual tickets are on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com, and at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

The Knighthawks have five games on Channel 26 this season and one game on Channel 98. Including the home opener, the Knighthawks will televise three live games on Time Warner Cable. The other contests are Saturday, March 24th (Channel 98) and Saturday, March 31st (Channel 26). Games on Saturday, February 18th; Saturday, March 10th and Saturday, April 28th will air tape-delayed on Channel 26.

The Rochester Knighthawks will also be featured in a live primetime telecast on CBS Sports Network during the 2012 on the National Lacrosse League season. In Rochester, the game will be broadcast on Time Warner Cable Channel 232.

The Knighthawks will open their 18th season at the Wells Fargo Center against the Philadelphia Wings on Saturday, January 14th at 7:00 p.m. Fans can watch the game on the NLL Network on NLL.com. The game will be broadcast live on Sportsradio 950 ESPN and www.sportsradio950espn.com.
