König Named to USL Team of the Week

OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC forward Danni König has been named to the USL team of the week, the league office announced today. The honor is the second this season for Konig, who was named the league's player of the week on April 7.
König's second game-winning goal of the season lifted Energy FC to a dramatic 2-1 victory against Seattle at the reopening of Taft Stadium. König's goal came in the 86th minute and propelled Energy FC to a 2-0-1 mark on the season as OKC is the western conference's lone unbeaten team remaining.
Sacramento Republic FC's Rodrigo Lopez was named player of the week.
Energy FC returns to action Saturday evening at 7 p.m. against St. Louis FC at historic Taft Stadium. Tickets remain and can be purchased online or by calling (405) 235-5425 (KICK).
