KiXX Announce 2005 Playoff Dates

Philadelphia, PA, April 25, 2005 – The Philadelphia KiXX and the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) announced today that the club will square-off versus the second-seeded Cleveland Force in the opening Semifinal Round of the 2005 MISL Championship Series. The two-game series will kick-off on Friday, April 29 at the Savvis Center in St. Louis as part of a MISL playoff doubleheader. Game-time is scheduled for 6:00 pm ET, with Game One of the Milwaukee Wave-St. Louis Steamers series immediately following at 8:30 pm ET. Game Two of the KiXX-Force series is slated for Sunday, May 1 at Cleveland's Wolstein Convocation Center with a 5:05 pm ET start time.

The Semifinal Round is a two-game "home and home" series, with the higher seed reserving right to choose home field for either Game One or Game Two. Should the semifinalists split their two-games, an overtime period with a "Golden Goal" will determine the series winner. The winner of the two-game series advances to the MISL Championship Series Final where they will meet the winner of the number-one seeded Milwaukee Wave versus the fourth-seeded St. Louis Steamers series. Game One of the Finals is scheduled for May 14 at the U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee, WI at 9:00 pm ET and Game Two is slated for May 21 at the Savvis Center with a start time of 7:00 pm ET.
