GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

Peter Pappas, Philadelphia KiXX

Peter Pappas completed another terrific regular season by holding the high-scoring Kansas City Comets to a pair of scores in an 8-2 Philadelphia win at Kemper Arena on Saturday. Pappas, a seven-time All-Star, recorded 10 saves in the contest, including six in the fourth quarter. The 32-year-old finished the season ranked near the top of the league in nearly every goalkeeping category: he was second in goals against average (4.34), minutes played (2,086), saves (449), and save percentage (.748), and third in wins (19). Pappas led all MISL netminders with six Goalkeeper of the Week selections in 2004-05, and was named Goalkeeper of the Month for January.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Pat White, Milwaukee Wave

Pat White wins his first weekly honor of the season after recording a goal and five blocks in Milwaukee's 11-8 win over Baltimore on Sunday. The 30-year-old, already the Wave's all-time leader in blocks, recorded the momentous 450th rejection of his career in the game. A 10-year veteran who once played in 139 consecutive games, White finished the season with 11 points (seven goals, four assists) and 50 blocks (second on the team, fifth in the league). White becomes the third Wave player to be named Defensive Player of the Week this season, joining Troy Dusosky and Chris Morman.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Adauto Neto, Cleveland Force

Adauto Neto scored three goals, including two game-winners, as Cleveland wrapped up the league's second playoff seed with weekend wins over Baltimore (7-6 in overtime on Friday) and Milwaukee (6-4 on Saturday). The 24-year-old scored 1:08 into overtime to down the Blast, and notched the game-winner at the 16-second mark of the fourth quarter against the Wave. Much like his team, the second-year striker finished the regular season on a high note, with goals in each of his last seven games (11 goals, 12 points total). Neto scored 21 goals and 31 points in 25 games in 2004-05.
