Kinston Indians News Release

KINSTON - The K-Tribe released their 2009 Carolina League Schedule today, with the first of 70 home games kicking off at Historic Grainger Stadium on Thursday, April 9th. The Indians will start the season off with a bang as 17 of their first 20 games are at home.

Although the full promotional schedule of special events and giveaways at Grainger Stadium is far from complete, the K-Tribe staff has already started to put together a 2009 season packed full of fun.

New in 2009, Firework Fridays will light up the spring and summer sky at Historic Grainger Stadium as a Fireworks Extravaganza will take place after all 11 Friday home games.

Two Buck Tuesdays make their debut at Historic Grainger Stadium this season, featuring $2 tickets, $2 drinks, $2 burgers and other food items for every Tuesday home game in 2009.

The Saturday Night Special will feature a giveaway or special event for each of Kinston's Saturday home games. Combined with returning daily favorites Military Appreciation night (every Wednesday), Thirsty Thursday, Sunday Family Fun Day and Monday Buck Night, there will be a special event or bargain for every home game on every day of the week this season.

The 2009 campaign will also be highlighted by Historic Grainger Stadium turning 60-years-old. The K-Tribe will also welcome fan number 4,000,000 through the gates of Historic Grainger Stadium during the 2009 season.

Season ticket packages for all 70 fun packed K-Tribe home games are on sale now. Season tickets are just $200 for a reserved seat (less than $3 a game). For more information and to take a look at the 2009 Kinston Indian's schedule go to www.kinstonindians.com or call the K-Tribe at 252-527-9111.
