In relief of Lawlor was the Braves 2015 8th Round pick, the towering 6'9" Chris Johnson-Mullins. Johnson- Mullins gave up two hits in two innings pitched and also added a pair of strikeouts as well. Evan Phillips picked up the tough loss as he surrendered the games' only run on a solo home run by Mets center fielder Kevin Kaczmarski to right field on a 2-1 count to break the scoreless tie. The home run by Kaczmarski was Phillips only hit allowed in three innings of work. Phillips also struck out a Braves bullpen season-high six batters. Shawn Moore relieved Phillips and shut down the Mets in the top of the ninth inning, however, the Braves failed to score in the 9th inning.
