
Kings Re-Sign Robyn Regehr

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have re-signed defenseman Robyn Regehr to a two-year contract extension, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Regehr appeared in 41 regular season games this season with the Kings and Buffalo Sabres, posting four points (all assists) and 23 penalty minutes. In 943 career regular season games with the Calgary Flames, Sabres and Kings, Regehr has 172 points (30-142172) and 881 penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound native of Recife, Brazil has also appeared in 54 playoff games, recording 16 points (3-1316) and 32 penalty minutes. In 13 playoff games with the Kings this postseason Regehr has one assist and four penalty minutes.
Regehr was acquired by the Kings from Buffalo in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2014 NHL Draft and the 2015 NHL Draft on April 1. He was originally selected by the Colorado Avalanche in the first-round (19th overall) of the 1998 NHL Draft.
