
Kings Individual Tickets On Sale Friday

The 2010 MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Organizing Committee, in conjunction with the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings have announced that a limited number of Individual tickets for the 11-day Championship will go on sale Friday morning at 9 a.m.
Fans can purchase tickets to all eight games (excluding Thursday, May 20th Tiebreaker) at the Keystone Centre box office, by calling 726-3555 or online at www.ticketmaster.ca
The Championship, which runs from May 14th - 23rd will feature the Host Brandon Wheat Kings as well as Champions of the three Major Junior Leagues - Windsor Spitfires (Ontario Hockey League), Moncton Wildcats (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) and Calgary Hitmen (Western Hockey League).
The puck drops on the 4-team event on Friday night, with the Wheat Kings playing host to the defending Memorial Cup Champion Spitfires. Puck drop is at 7 p.m., with the doors to the Keystone Centre's Main Concourse scheduled to open at 5.
While Individual tickets will go on sale Friday, fans can still purchase the full 9-game Ticket Package on Thursday at a cost of $399 plus taxes.

In other MasterCard Memorial Cup news, CFB Shilo will host a special Rededication Ceremony Thursday afternoon. Once completed, the Memorial Cup will be delivered to Brandon along Veterans Way in a Light Armoured Vehicle (LAVIII).
Thursday night, the Opening Gala - presented by Manitoba Liquor Marts - will be held in the Victoria Inn Grand Salon.
