Kingfish Iced in second exhibition

Baton Rouge Kingfish News Release
The Louisiana Ice Gators downed the Baton Rouge Kingfish for the second consecutive day by a one goal margin as the picked up the 2-1 win.
The Kingfish opened the scoring on a 5-3 power play at the 12:10 mark of the first period as Wes Scanzano picked up a loose puck along the goal line and flipped it over an outstretched Fredric Cloutier. Sean Peach and Jesse Ferguson picked up the helpers on the goal.
The Kingfish lead stood till the end of the second period when Chris Taliercio beat Jamie McCaig with just 55 seconds left in the period to tie the game at 1-1. Bobby Brown added the assist on the goal.
Rod Sarich picked up the game winner at the midway mark of the third period in a low scoring contest as he deflected a Shawn McNeil shot past McCaig.
Jeff Blair played the first half of the contest and made some big saves early on to keep the Ice Gators off the board in the first period
Despite being outshot 28-35, the Kingfish went 1-7 on the man advantage while the Ice Gators went 0-12 on the power play.
