Kingfish Announce Two Returners

Kenosha, Wis. - May 5, 2015. The Kingfish have announced the return of two players for the 2015 season. Catcher Alex Dunlap (Stanford University) and pitcher Dillon Mazzoccoli (Texas State University) will return to Kenosha for another summer.

Dunlap, a 6'2", 195-pound sophomore from The Woodlands, Texas will join the Kingfish for his second season after a strong summer in 2014. Last season in Kenosha, He hit .265 with 23 RBIs and two home runs.

So far, in his 2015 season with the Cardinal, Dunlap has a .201 batting average with 13 RBIs and one home run. As a freshman he hit .237 with 14 RBIs.

Mazzoccoli, a 6'4", 180-pound junior from Katy, Texas will also return to Kenosha. Mazzoccoli, who is a redshirt junior finished the 2014 summer in Kenosha with a 3.07 ERA in 38 innings pitched and a 3-0 record.

This season at Texas State, Mazzoccoli holds a 4.12 ERA in 43.2 innings pitched. Mazzoccoli has also played for Blinn College and Clarendon College.

The Kingfish will open the season at home on Tuesday, May 26th at 7:05 pm as they take on the St. Cloud Rox.
