Missoula PaddleHeads News Release

MISSOULA, MT - Jae Yun Kim and Ender Inciarte each hit two-run home runs, while the Osprey pitching staff scattered seven hits and combined for 13 strikeouts, as Missoula beat Great Falls, 6-2, on Thursday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field.

With the win, the Osprey (10-13, 31-30) are back alone in first place in the Pioneer League's North Division, one game ahead of the Voyagers and 2 ½ games in front of both Billings and Helena.

The 2,313 fans were treated to Kim's first stolen base as a professional baseball player, scoring on the back end of a double steal with Inciarte during a two-run second inning. Kim, who had two hits on the night, also threw out a would-be baserunner in the top of the third, and then hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to give the Osprey plenty of insurance runs.

Inciarte also had a pair of hits, including his first career home run, a two-run shot which snapped a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the fourth inning with Kim on base.

Michael Noboa added a RBI single, while Bobby Stone singled and Keon Broxton doubled for the Osprey. Broxton scored on Noboa's run-scoring hit in the bottom of the second.

While the Osprey were held to just seven hits, the Voyagers also collected seven hits, and drew four walks, but could not take advantage. The Missoula pitching of Enrique Burgos - who allowed two unearned runs on four hits and four walks - Keith Cantwell (4-0) and Ryan Robowski kept the Voyagers off balance for most of the night.

Cantwell fanned seven batters in 3 2/3 innings, allowing only one hit in the process and picking up the win on the mound.

The Osprey will head on the road for a seven-game trip beginning Friday in Billings. The Osprey will play four games in Billings and three in Helena during the trip. In Friday's opener at Dehler Park, the Osprey will send left-hander Mike Belfiore to the mound, while the Mustangs will counter with right-hander Blair Carson.

The Osprey will play their final six games at home in their final homestand, which will begin on Friday, September 4. Tickets for any remaining Osprey home game this season can be obtained by calling the Osprey at (406) 543-3300, stopping by the Osprey Team Store at 412 W. Alder, or ordering online at www.missoulaosprey.com.
