Killer Bees Set To Welcome Millionth Fan On January 9

HIDALGO, Texas --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League (CHL) today announced the team will welcome its one-millionth fan through the turnstiles at Dodge Arena on Saturday, January 9, when RGV hosts the Colorado Eagles. That lucky fan will receive a prize pack worth over $6,000.

"We've crunched the numbers and based on our presales, we will welcome our one-millionth fan on January 9," Killer Bees General Manager Grant W. Buckborough said. "It's a historic moment for professional sports in the Rio Grande Valley as we reach this important attendance milestone and we want all of our fans to know much we appreciate their support."

Only one set of doors will be open to welcome fans on January 9 to insure an accurate count of fans entering the arena.
