
Killer Bees Add Eric Rex to Playoff Roster

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees have added amateur Eric Rex to their playoff roster in preparation for their upcoming series with the Allen Americans. Rex joins the Bees after a four-year career with Canisius College. Rex will wear number 11 while with the Bees.
The 5'11 forward racked up 27 points during his senior season at Canisius helping his team advance to the second round of the Atlantic Hockey tournament with a pair of goals against Niagara in the first round.
"We are excited to have Eric join our squad." Killer Bees head coach Chris Brooks commented. "Depth is so critically important in the playoffs and I believe Eric brings that to our team."
The Killer Bees first round series against Allen gets underway Thursday at 7:30 p.m. from the Allen Event Center. Game two will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. before the series shifts to the Valley for game three on Sunday at 1 p.m. Game four, if necessary, will be Monday at 7 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to attend a viewing party for game one of the series this Thursday at The Office Bar & Grill on Pecan Blvd. in McAllen.
