JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -â The Suns managed three hits against the Birmingham Barons in a 3-0 defeat in front of 5,016 fans Monday morning at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
The game started at 11:05 a.m. to allow fifth-graders from Duval County to attend the game as a field trip. Concession stands did not serve beer, but all fans were permitted to attend. Many came briefly over their lunch breaks as the crowd swelled in the middle innings.
Barons starter Enemencio Pacheco (2-0) advanced his streak to 22 innings without allowing an earned run by shutting out the Suns over six innings. He walked none and struck out five in earning the victory. Pacheco's ERA dropped to 0.36.

Barons designated hitter Carlos Maldonado hit a sacrifice fly which scored Ryan Hankins in the fourth inning; and Danny Sandoval smacked a two-run double in the fifth to account for all the scoring.
