Mohegan Wolves News Release
NEW LONDON, Conn. (Feb. 18, 2003) The Mohegan Wolves (arenafootball2) spent their recent Valentine's Day visiting over 400 kids at Cutler Middle School in Mystic, Conn.
Eight representatives from the Wolves were at the event, including Head Coach Mark Stoute and second-year player Greg Gildea. Other members of the Wolves staff in attendance were General Manager Jim Odle, Assistant Coach John Mancinelli, Director of Media Relations Marc Lestinsky and dance team members Kelley Lathrop, Erin Logan and Brittany Bonchuk.
The main focus of Mohegan's three separate presentations to the students involved the importance of education in life. Near the end of each session, the dancers delighted the young crowd with a short sideline routine. After the routine, the Wolves entertained questions and signed autographs.
The school appearance was the first of the 2003 season for the Wolves.
If you would like the Wolves to visit your school, please contact Marc Lestinsky at 860.443.1900.
The Wolves kick off their 2003 season on Sat., April 5, vs. the Rochester Brigade at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
