As part of a first-of-its-kind promotion, the Lakewood BlueClaws and Trenton Thunder have announced all children will eat for free at every 2009 home game.
"We want to bring some joy back to Jersey," said Joe Finley, President of both ballclubs. "Our teams are an important part of their respective communities, and this is our way of helping everyone in both areas."

FanFest is Next Saturday $1 off tickets, win Phillies luxury suite tickets, and much more Join the BlueClaws on Saturday, March 7th from 12pm to 5pm as we hold our annual FanFest at FirstEnergy Park. FanFest is the first day that individual tickets go on sale and there will be a number of activities and benefits for the whole family, including:

Find Your Favorite Promos Promotional schedule released by 'Claws The Lakewood BlueClaws recently announced their first wave of promotions for the upcoming 2009 season. With even more promotions and giveaways yet to be released, the BlueClaws promotional schedule features the return of some favorites and some great new items for 2009. Some great options this year include:
* 5/9: Bark in the Park - Bring your dog to a game! (presented by 95.9 WRAT)
* 5/26: Ryan Howard Caps (presented by Home Depot)
* 6/16: Kids Camo Hats ( presented by Mortgage Now)
Several great entertainers will be at the park this summer, including the ZOOperstars on June 8th and August 6th, the Phillie Phanatic on June 29th and August 24th and the Famous Chicken on August 31st.
What's New with the BlueClaws? FlexiBushels, Silver Sluggers package recently unveiled The Lakewood BlueClaws recently announced their new FlexiBushel of BlueClaws. This is the only seven-game ticket package were fans can take advantage of value pricing, receive free gifts and get undated tickets.
Since the BlueClaws have a Kids' Club, we also wanted to make a club just for seniors. The BlueClaws have introduced the "Silver Sluggers" membership club, for fans 60 and older.

Carlos Carrasco, Matt Maloney and Josh Outman, BlueClaws starters who combined for 42 wins in 2006 as part of the BlueClaws SAL Championship club, are all in the mix for fifth-stater jobs with different big league clubs. Coaches Clinic This Saturday Reserve your spot today It's not too late to sign up for our Coaches Clinic that takes place this Saturday from 11am - 3pm at FirstEnergy Park. If you're a baseball or softball coach, the BlueClaws' Coaches Clinic is an event you can't miss!
Former Major Leaguers Pete Harnisch and Mark Leiter will be on hand and bring a combined 25 years of major league experience to the instructors list at the BlueClaws' Coaches Clinic. They'll join former minor league outfielder Charlie Frazier at the event, which will inform area coaches on a number of pertinent topics.

Oh, Say, Can You Sing? Pick up anthem applications this week There are just a few days left to apply for your chance to sing the National Anthem at FirstEnergy Park this summer. Applications are only available at FirstEnergy Park and they must be returned in person before 4 pm on Friday, February 27th. In 2008, performers included national recording artist Nicole Atkins.
Bring Your Little League Team to the Ballpark Get two free hours in BlueClaws batting cages! One of the biggest thrills for a young ball player is a chance to get on the field before a BlueClaws home game.
