
Kickoff for Houston Dash vs. Chicago Red Stars Match Delayed Due to Lightning in the Area

HOUSTON - Tonight's Houston Dash vs. Chicago Red Stars NWSL regular season match at BBVA Stadium has been delayed due to lightning in the area. Kickoff is now scheduled for 8:00 p.m. CDT.
Fans and media members are encouraged to follow @HoustonDash and @BBVAStadium on Twitter for up-to-the-minute updates as the situation progresses. The club will issue updated announcements once a time has been confirmed for the match to resume.
For the safety of everyone involved, all players, referees and staff are not permitted on the field while there is lightning near the stadium, and the seating bowl has been cleared. During the delay, fans may either stay in the stadium on the concourse or leave the stadium to seek shelter elsewhere. If fans leave the stadium due to the weather delay, they may scan their ticket on exit in order to return when play resumes.
