
Keys Open Second-Half with An Exciting Six-Game Homestand

Frederick, MD - The Frederick Keys, Advanced Class-A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, will begin the second-half of the 2010 season on Thursday, June 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Harry Grove Stadium against the Winston-Salem Dash. The Keys were the Carolina League's Northern Division First-Half Champion after posting an impressive, 41-29, record over the first-half of the season.
The six-game homestand will offer very unique and original experiences to Keys fans at Harry Grove Stadium.

Thursday, June 24 - Winston-Salem 7:00 p.m. / Peanut Free Night presented by Frederick Allergy and Asthma Center
The ballpark will be cleaned from head to toe for the third annual Peanut Free Night presented by the Frederick Allergy and Asthma Center. Peanuts will not be sold during the game so that baseball fans that have a peanut allergy can have a great night at the ballpark.
Friday, June 25 - Winston-Salem 7:00 p.m. / YMCA Night
Prior to Friday night's game, the Keys staff and team will honor all YMCA participants with an on-field pre-game parade at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks will follow the game. For more information on YMCA night, please contact the Keys Group department at 301-815-9900.
The Frederick Keys Baseball Camp Session 1 will start on Friday morning. Camp will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, Monday, June 28 and Tuesday, June 29. To register, please contact Keys Marketing Assistant Brian Tardif at 301-815-9902. Registration for camp closes on Thursday, June 24 at 12:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 26 - Winston-Salem 6:00 p.m. / Scout Night presented by WOW Café and Wingery
Once every year, the Keys invite all scout and brownie troops out to the ball park to watch a baseball AND stay the night! All participating will be honored in a pre-game on-field parade where all of the troops will be recognized. After the game, the participating troops grab their tents and set up in the Keys outfield, where they also get to enjoy a movie on the videoboard before lights out. This year's movie will be the academy nominated UP! All scouts and brownies will also receive a Frederick Keys Scout Night patches presented by WOW Cafe & Wingery.
Fireworks will follow Saturday Night's contest.
Sunday, June 27 - Wilmington 6:00 p.m. / Beach Night and Goldfish Webkinz giveaway presented by the Frederick News Post
It's the start of the summer and Harry Grove Stadium is getting, hot, hot, hot. Always a fan favorite, beach night is back, giving fans an opportunity for a STAYcation at the ballpark. With themed music and video features. There will also be a special Beach Night menu in the Mattress Warehouse Club. For more information contact the Keys Group Department at 301-815-9900.
In addition to Beach Night, Sunday will also feature a Meet the Team event. All Keys players and coaches will be available for autographs on the field an hour prior to Sunday night's contest. Fans will still be able to play catch on the field from 5:00-5:30 pm as part of Sunday Funday presented by Dicks Sporting Goods.
The first 500 kids who come on Beach Night will receive a Goldfish Webkinz courtesy of the Frederick News Post. Fireworks will also follow Sunday Night's game.
Monday, June 28 - Wilmington 7:00 p.m. / Bark in the Park sponsored by Purina Dog Chow
Fans are invited and encouraged to bring their four-legged, furry friends to Harry Grove Stadium for Bark in the park. Fans are to register their dogs and receive a discounted ticket for the canine friendly evening. Entertainment acts include pre-game fly ball demonstrations and numerous frisbee dog performances. Fans are invited to run the bases after the game with their pooch. Kiddy pools and buckets will be set up around the stadium, giving dogs plenty of drinking water during the summer evening.
Tuesday, June 29 - Wilmington 7:00 p.m. / Guaranteed Win Tuesday
The final game of the Keys six-game home stand is a Guaranteed Win Tuesday. Every Tuesday home game during the 2010 season if they Keys lose, your ticket is stub is redeemable for any remaining Monday-Thursday home game.
Kids can run the bases following every home game presented by Complete Chiropractic. Kids wearing a youth sports uniform on Monday - Thursday will receive a free ticket as a part of the Kids Courtesy Admission program sponsored by the Weinberg Center for the Arts.
