Kent, July 22, 2008 - KING 5 News Reporter Chris Daniels received a tour of the T-Birds new home, the Kent Events Center, on Tuesday, July 22, for a news story he is doing for the Tuesday evening news.
Daniels' story will showcase the current construction progress of the Kent Events Center.
Daniels interviewed Ben Wolters, City of Kent Economic Development Director, Tim Higgins, General Manger of the Kent Events Center, Ben Golding, Mortenson Project Manager for the Kent Events Center and Ian Henry, T-Birds Director of Public and Media Relations for the story. The story will air at approximately 5:30 p.m. on KING 5 TV News Tuesday evening. T-Birds fans are encouraged to check out the feature as Daniels took significant footage of the seating bowl and the ice surface, which was in the process of being installed.
