Kelowna Rockets battle the Everett Silvertips

Cashing the net, Carter Bear (25) got the Tips on the board first 7:32 into the game. Ben Hemmerling (29) added a power play tally before Jesse Heslop (19) pushed Everett out to a 3-0 lead heading into the first intermission.
A give and go feed to Tij Iginla (47) cut into the Silvertips lead 1:47 into the second. A power play goal from the blade of Austin Roest (34) restored Everett's three-goal lead at the midway mark.
Caden Brown (7) added to the Silvertips lead 2:51 into the third period. Minutes later Gabriel Szturc (30) drove to the net on the power play chipping away at the lead. Late in the game Roest (35) would find the back of the net for the second time in the game.

The Rockets record is now 31-29-4-1
Goaltender Jake Pilon made his first start since February 4, stopping 34 of the 40 shots fired his way
Kelowna was 1/6 with the man advantage, while the Everett power play went 2/4
The Silvertips outshot the Rockets 40-31

The Silvertips and Rockets will shift back to Prospera Place to wrap up the season series on Saturday, where Chick Jagger will be playing live music throughout the game.
