Kelowna Falcons News Release
Bellingham, WA: The Kelowna Falcons recorded their first road win of the year on Saturday night with a 4-1 win in Bellingham over the Bells.
Falcons' starter Caleb Olson took matters into his own hands with a complete game victory, allowing just one run, scattering eight hits and striking out a pair for his first win of the summer.
After giving up a run in the first inning, the Falcons responded immediately in the top of the second as Chandler Tracy belted his league leading fourth homerun of the summer.
Then in the fourth, Grayson Porter smacked his second homerun of the season, a two run shot that also scored Stetson Olson.
In the seventh the Falcons added an insurance run as Robby Witt would score an unearned run.
Porter would lead the offense with a 3-4 night with two RBI, while Olson and Joe Robbins also had multi-hit nights.
The Falcons and Bells will play the series rubber match on Sunday before returning home on Monday to host the Walla Walla Sweets. Preston Gray is the projected Sunday starter.
