
Kelowna Falcons Fall in Kirsap

Bremerton, WA: For the first time this season the Kelowna Falcons would fall to the Kitsap Bluejackets on Friday night, 3-1 in a pitching dominated game.
The Jackets would strike first in the third inning with an unearned run off Falcons' starter Austin Rice.
In the top of the sixth Reed Lavallee doubled to lead off the inning and would move to third on a wild pitch. Nelson Benjamin would then collect a pinch hit to score Lavallee, for his second RBI of the season and to tie the game.
However in the bottom of the inning the Bluejackets would regain the lead off Rice with a pair of runs. It would a lead they would never relinquish.
Rice would toss seven solid inning scattering just four hits while striking out two, but suffered the loss.
The Falcons and Bluejackets will battle again on Saturday night in Bremerton Washington. 4-1 Nolan Savage will get the start for the visitors.
