NASHVILLE- The Nashville Kats have placed FB/LB Rupert Grant on the team's injured reserve list and activated OL Isaiah Ross and WR Demetrius Bendross from that same list announced Head Coach/Dir. of Football Ops Pat Sperduto.
Grant (6-1, 240 Howard) spent the first four weeks of the Kats 2007 season on the team's injured reserve list before being activated in Week 5 where he went on to start the team's next six games where he registered eight total tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery from the LB position.
Ross (6-3 320 Nevada-Reno) played in the team's week 5 match-up with the Colorado Crush where he started at OL. He had spent the previous four weeks on the team's injury reserve list as well as weeks 6-10.
Bendross (5-11 180 Florida A&M) will see his first action of the season since being acquired in an early season trade with the Tampa Bay Storm.
The Kats' next contest will be against the Colorado Crush, Friday, May 10. Nashville competes in the AFL's Central Division, a talent-rich division that houses the past two ArenaBowl Champions (Chicago Rush 2006, Colorado Crush 2005) and added the Kansas City Brigade in a realignment change.
