
Karasiewicz Posts Six Points In Outlaws 9-1 Win

WILLIAMSPORT, PA - Trevor Karasiewicz entered tonight's game against the New York Bluefins leading the Federal Hockey League with 48 points and 40 assists, he skated away leading the FHL with 54 points and 45 assists after the Outlaws 9-1 win over the Bluefins.
It took the first 10 minutes for the Outlaws to feel out the tone of tonight's game, but after Matthew Puntureri (6) at the 10:27 mark of the period to make it 1-0 Outlaws. Matt Smyth made it 2-0 with his 17th goal of the season at the 14:32 mark. Tyler Matheson added his 5th goal of the season at the 17:54 mark to make it 3-0. The fourth goal of the period was scored by Anthony Battaglia, his first of the season, at the 19:53 mark.
Williamsport outshot the Bluefins 23-4 in the period.
Battaglia started the scoring for the Outlaws in the second period early with his second goal of the season at the 0:23 mark of the period making it 5-0 Outlaws. Smyth would follow by tallying his 18th and 19th goals of the season, giving him the Hat Trick and the Outlaws a 7-0 lead. Trevor Karasiewicz would score his ninth goal of the season shortly after his penalty expired to make it 8-0 Outlaws. Martin Moucha would score his 13th of the season to make it 9-0.
Williamsport outshot the Bluefins 19-3 in the second period.
The Outlaws pulled back in the third period only using long shots and dumps all period long. The Outlaws outshot the Bluefins 8-6 in the period. Angelo Asaro scored the lone goal for the Bluefins at the 4:22 mark of the period.
Mike DiLorenzo 12 saves on the 13 shots he faced while picking up his second win on the season in net.
Alex Wyse started for the Bluefins put was pulled after allowing nine goals on 42 shots faced through two periods of play. Brent Troyan replaced Wyse and made eight saves on all eight shots faced.
