Kansas City earned a 2-1 home victory of Racing Louisville FC after two goals in the first-half. Kansas City scored their first goal on an own goal after Kristen Hamilton sent in a cross in front of the net in the 17'. Hamilton then picked up a goal in the 40' as Hailie Mace earned the assist. Racing would cut into the lead in the 65' after CeCe Kizer received a pass from Nadia Nadim and scored.
