
Dash Forward Deneisha Blackwood to Miss the Remainder of the Season Due to Injury

HOUSTON - Houston Dash forward Deneisha Blackwood underwent surgery on her left knee after a season-ending injury earlier this month. Blackwood is expected to miss the final 10 games of the regular season.
The 24-year-old signed a one-year contract with a club option for the 2022 season on Jan. 26 and appeared in two games for Houston prior to her injury.
The defender spent the 2020 Fall Series with the Orlando Pride making appearances in all four games and finished with 196 minutes. Before joining the Pride, Blackwood spent a season with Slavia Prague in the Czech First Division, logging nine appearances.
