
Kansas City Current Named to NWSL March/April Best XI of the Month, Presented by Mastercard

KANSAS CITY - One day after earning Player of the Week honors, Kansas City Current midfielder Debinha was named to the NWSL March/April Best XI, presented by Mastercard,by the NWSL Media Association and the NWSL's on-air broadcast talent. This is her eighth time earning this monthly award, moving her into a tie with Abby Erceg for the fourth most all-time.
Debinha has scored in each of the last three games, including the club's first brace last week against NJ/NY Gotham. Although the first for the Current, it was the fourth time in her career that the Brazilian midfielder has scored two or more goals in a game.
Mastercard and the NWSL launched the Best XI of the Month awards platform with the First Team and Second Team honors for the 22 top players of the league after the 2021 season. The development of the Best XI is a further commitment from the company to connect NWSL fans to the league and the athletes they love.
