Kansas City Current Announce 2023 Preseason Match Schedule

KANSAS CITY - The Kansas City Current announced the team's 2023 preseason schedule today. The team will play two matches in Florida before heading to San Diego, California for additional warm-weather training and two more matches, all against NWSL clubs.

The preseason schedule will begin with a match against the Orlando Pride at Exploria Stadium Feb. 23 at 5:30 p.m. CT. The match is open to the public and fans can claim free tickets via the RSVP link here. While in Florida, the Current will also play a closed-door match against the Chicago Red Stars Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. CT.

The Current will head to San Diego for the second phase of preseason training March 6-12. While there the team will play a pair of matches; March 8 vs the Houston Dash at 12 p.m. C.T. and March 11 vs the San Diego Wave at 2 p.m. CT.

While the Feb. 23 match is the only one open to the public, fans can follow the Current's social media channels for updates on all four matches.

The 2023 Regular Season will open March 25 when the Current travels to face the North Carolina Courage at 1 p.m. CT. Then, April 1 the Current open the home schedule by welcoming the Portland Thorns to Children's Mercy Park in a rematch of the 2022 NWSL Championship match at 11:50 a.m. CT.
