KALAMAZOO - The Kalamazoo Kings clinched the East Division title Sunday evening, their second division title in four years. The division was won with a combination of the Kings' victory over River City and Traverse City's loss to Southern Illinois.
Playoff tickets are now on sale at the Kings Box Office for $5.00 with Game One tentatively scheduled for Friday September 5th at 7:05 pm and Game Two tentatively scheduled for Saturday September 6th at 7:05 pm.
The Kings also won their fifty-fourth game of the season Saturday night which is a team record for the regular season. With their 55-32 record, the Kings hold the best record in the Frontier League by two games.
The Kalamazoo Kings close out their regular season home schedule with a three game series against the Midwest Sliders starting Friday August 29th at 7:05 pm.
