
Kalamazoo Earns Home Ice Advantage

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League announce the cinching of home ice through the first round of the Robertson Cup Playoffs.
With their win against the Jamestown Ironmen on Sunday afternoon, Kalamazoo ensured themselves home ice through the first round of the post season. The Robertson Cup Playoffs, set to get underway on Friday, April 6th at 7:00 pm, will see the Jr. K-Wing face either the Traverse City North Stars or the Michigan Warriors.
If necessary, a decisive game five will be played at the Borgess Health Rink at Wings West on Monday, April 16th at 7:00 pm.
Going into the last two games of the season, both of which are against Port Huron, Kalamazoo trails the Fighting Falcons by one point. They face-off on Friday (3/30) in Port Huron and Saturday (3/31) in Kalamazoo, leaving the Jr.
K-Wings with a chance to take over the number one seed in the North Division.
The Jr. K-Wings will return to the Borgess Health Rink at Wings West again on Saturday, March 31st against the Port Huron Fighting Falcons.
