K-Wings host first ever Guns \'N\' Hoses Game

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce that their first-ever Guns ‘N' Hoses Game featuring the Battle Creek Police Department versus Kalamazoo Public Safety will occur this Saturday, March 12th at 5:15 p.m.

The charity game will take place before the K-Wings Central Division game against their intra-state rivals, the Motor City Mechanics. The K-Wings game against the Mechanics also coincides with AAA of Michigan "Safety Night". Kalamazoo Public Safety mascot Sparky will be attending the game, as well as several safety displays including Finger Printing, Ambulance Tours, Child Safety seat display and water safety display.

If the Battle Creek Police Department wins, the charity money goes to "The Thin Blue Line of Michigan", an organization created to help families of officers who were killed in the line of duty.

If Kalamazoo Public Safety wins, the charity money goes to the "Fire Marshall's Burn Prevention Fund".

One-Dollar of each group ticket sold for the event will be donated to the winning teams charity. Doors open for the game at 5:00pm

Besides this Saturday's game, AAA of Michigan will also be participating during the K-Wings game on April 6th versus the Danbury Trashers. AAA of Michigan will be bringing in NASCAR's Roush Racing team, who will bring their racing car, as well as a 2 person NASCAR Simulator. Wear your NASCAR gear and get in the spirit of NASCAR season! Both will be on display from 5:30pm - 9:30pm. There is no cost to take a ride in the NASCAR simulator!
