K-Tribe Returns to Carolina League Playoffs

Kinston, NC - The Kinston Indians have clinched a spot in the Carolina League playoffs and will meet the Winston-Salem Dash in a best-of-five Division Series starting on Wednesday night at BB&T Ballpark in Winston. Games three and four (if necessary) of the series are Friday and Saturday at Historic Grainger Stadium in Kinston at 7pm. Playoff tickets are on sale now. Ticket prices remain the same as the regular season with students, seniors and the military getting a reserved seat for $5. Reserved seats for the general public are only $6. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are available by calling the K-Tribe office at 252-527-9111. You can also purchase tickets online for Friday's game only at www.kinstonindians.com.
The first two games of the Southern Division Championship series will be on Wednesday and Thursday night, both starting at 7 pm in Winston-Salem. Games three and four (if necessary) will also start at 7 pm and be held on Friday and Saturday in Kinston. Game five (if necessary) will be played in Winston-Salem at 5pm.
This is the K-Tribe's first playoff appearance since 2007. It will be Kinston's 17th overall playoff appearance in their 24 seasons as a Cleveland Indians affiliate. The K-Tribe will chase their seventh Carolina League Championship all-time and first since 2004.
